In 1993, former Salisbury University student Todd Graham collected folk material. His collection explores the use of rituals and fetishes that athletes believed would help them perform better and control the elements of chance. These could take the form of a piece of clothing, a material object, a particular activity, etc. The student observed and interviewed several people to learn more about their lucky ritual. Videotape and audiotape enclosed.
